These Terms govern your use of claudecert.com (the Site). By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

claudecert.com is a free, community-maintained study companion for Anthropic's Claude Certified Architect (Foundations) exam. The Site offers written lessons, practice questions, a mock exam, drill mode, an audiobook, a 14-Day Plan, a study tutor chat, and related tools.

2. Not affiliated with Anthropic

claudecert.com is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise officially connected with Anthropic, PBC. "Claude," "Claude Code," "Claude Certified Architect," and related marks are property of their respective owners. References on this Site are nominative — they describe what the Site helps you study, not a partnership.

The authoritative source for the exam (its scope, registration, scoring, and current content) is Anthropic. If our material ever diverges from Anthropic's official documentation, the official material controls.

3. No certification guarantee

The Site is a study aid. Use of the Site does not guarantee a passing result on any examination. Our practice questions, mock exam, and case studies are original to this Site; they are not Anthropic's actual exam content. Mock-exam performance is an informal self-calibration tool, not a credential.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

5. Accounts

Most of the Site works without an account; progress is stored locally in your browser. If we later enable optional sign-in, you agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches applicable law.
• Scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions of Site content without prior written permission.
• Interfere with the Site's operation, security, or integrity — including unauthorized vulnerability probing, denial-of-service attacks, or attempts to bypass authentication or rate limiting.
• Use the Site to harass other users, distribute malware, or transmit unlawful content.
• Misrepresent your affiliation — including suggesting endorsement by Anthropic.
• Use automated systems to abuse free third-party services exposed via the Site (the tutor chat, read-aloud audio, etc.).

We may suspend or restrict access at our discretion if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms.

7. Your content

If we add features that let you submit content (comments, custom decks, notes), you retain ownership but grant claudecert.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and operate that content as part of the Site. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it.

8. Our content and intellectual property

Lessons, practice questions, case studies, audiobook scripts, layouts, illustrations, code, and other original content on the Site are © 2026 claudecert.com unless otherwise marked. You may:

• Read, listen to, and study the content for personal exam preparation.
• Share short quotes or links to specific pages.
• Use any open-source elements under the licenses they specify.

You may not:

• Republish or redistribute substantial portions of our content without permission.
• Train or fine-tune machine-learning models on our content beyond what our robots.txt allows.
• Strip our attributions or imply endorsement by Anthropic.

9. Third-party services

The Site integrates with third-party services that have their own terms and privacy policies:

• Anthropic API — powers the on-site study tutor chat.
• ElevenLabs — generates read-aloud audio for questions and the audiobook.
• Vercel — hosts the Site.
• Neon (when enabled) — stores progress for signed-in users.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms.

10. Outbound links

The Site links to third-party documentation, courses, and resources for convenience. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any linked site.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy policy. By using the Site, you also agree to that policy.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is fully current with Anthropic's most recent official material.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, claudecert.com and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — or any loss of profits, data, certification outcomes, or goodwill — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to USD $50.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless claudecert.com and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on the Site, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms, or if continued operation would pose legal, security, or operational risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, miscellaneous) will continue to apply.

17. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms — together with our Privacy policy and any additional terms presented in specific features — are the entire agreement between you and claudecert.com regarding the Site. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
